ifilm to air 'The Sound of Rain'

ifilm new series, ‘The Sound of Rain’, has been scheduled to go on air from Tuesday June 19, 2018.

Directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ is a 2013 drama TV series.

The series narrates the life story of Taha, who is a successful businessman and a widower living with his five-year-old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, Taha gets framed for smuggling drugs and is sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he had left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.

The series cast list includes Sorayya Qasemi, Mehran Ahmadi, Siavash Kheirabi, Sam Derakhshani, Sepideh Khodaverdi and Hamid-Reza Pegah.

‘The Sound of Rain’ is a replacement for the series ‘Lean on the Wind’, and is scheduled to go on air daily at 18:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00 (all GMT times). It comprises 40 episodes.
